Bayfront Place - Retail Building & Parking Garage

Location: West Bayfront Parkway, Erie, Pennsylvania
Dates: Construction complete – 2016
Size: 10,000 SF of commercial space and a three-level, 275-space parking garage
Kidder Architects created a master plan for development of Bayfront Place on Erie’s West Bayfront. The first building on the site was the Bayfront Convention Center, followed by the Courtyard by Marriott Erie Bayfront hotel. The Bayfront Place parking garage was built to support the Courtyard by Marriott hotel, which was designed by Denver firm Sink, Combs, Dethlefs Architecture. The hotel and garage were constructed simultaneously. The parking garage was designed to accommodate the potential addition of two levels in the future.
The first two tenants of the commercial space were Bay House Oyster Bar & Restaurant and Pier 6 Rooftop Bar & Restaurant. Kidder Architects is the architect of reference for both spaces, for which interior design was done by Richardson Design of Cleveland.
